Case Study

CERA Sanitaryware

One of the largest Rooftop Projects in the State of Gujarat

CERA Sanitaryware is a leading manufacturer of high end showers, steam cubicles, and whirlpools, besides sanitary ware and faucets. Their Rooftop Solar Plant is one of the largest project of its type in the entire state of Gujarat, includes 6450 solar panels spread across a roof of over 17,500 square meters. The total capacity of 2MW was installed by Harsha Abakus Solar Division in three phases– 500 kW in the 1st phase, 500 kW in 2nd and 1 MW in the 3rd phase.

The biggest challenge was the inconsistent roof structure due to varied type of roofs on the facility and was addressed at the design stage itself to ensure smooth implementation of the entire project.

Despite extreme dust and other impurities released from the ceramic industry, we successfully executed and commissioned this project within the given timelines. Today, we continue to operate and maintain the plant and is generating electricity at a high CUF.
